West Chester/Liberty Township

Over the 2023-24 Funding Cycle, Butler County United Way has allocated $25,000 directly to programs exclusively serving the West Chester/Liberty Township community, in addition to the $489,124 West Chester/Liberty received through funding of county-wide programming.

Together, we were able to help 900 students in the area improve functioning in life areas such as family, friendships, and school through Focus on Youth's The Connect Project.

Tools like life skill education groups helped strengthen coping skills to help students tackle issues facing youth every day, including bullying, self-esteem, body image, navigating trauma, and anger management. Through the Connect Project, participants were also able to reduce their levels of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation.
